I got a car from Dave and it was a 2011 Hyundai I asked questions drove it etc the first two hours it was driving fine soon as I got back to Springfield it started messing up so I texted and called Dave he constantly has an excuse or told me to drive it back to Peoria knowing something was wrong with it also told me the car was in good condition and not rusty once I started to get the car fixed bc he refused to and wanted me to drive on the emergency breaks which wasn’t gonna happen and I had my mom call I’m young and he took advantage of me the whole car is rusted we got everything fixed now it’s the battery nd when Yu see this we are going to court

I had a favorable experience with Dave’s Garage. After purchase of a reasonably priced Prius, a minor issue came up 24 hours later. Dave was kind enough to give us a loaner for nearly one week and took care of the issue promptly. You will feel like you are dealing with an honest man when working with Dave.

DO NOT take your vehicle to Dave’s Garage. The mechanics never show up on time, they leave oil residue inside and outside of the car. We took our VW beetle there to get an ESTIMATE on getting the speedometer fixed and ended up NOT getting an estimate and NOT having the speedometer fixed, but 5 other things “fixed” on the car. It took 2 weeks to get the car back. We would call every day at about 4:30 (they close at 5), hoping it would be done, and he would say they just started working on it an hour ago. They supposedly replaced the struts, axle, transmission plug, sensors, and more. They then wanted US to drive down to Abington IL to get a part from a junkyard when we already overpaid for what they did. They also told us it had a small oil leak, which we knew of. The day we brought it home

Just bought my car 3 months ago and already have had to put over $500 into it. These dudes are scammers shouldn't have rushed and did business with them could have gotten something way nicer for the price I paid, thought the car was nice but had some pretty bad problems come to find out. Had to get all new spark plugs, coils, and connectors because all the connectors were broke my engine was misfiring on all cylinders due to the bad spark plugs and coils. Then I had to get a whole new pcv valve, now have to go get my radiator hose fixed because it had a giant crack in it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! You'll end up having to spend tons of money on repairs not long down the line after buying from them, save your money and take your money elsewhere.

Don't take your car here! They had my car for 2 weeks, charged me $547.00 and my car still wasn't fixed right! They do not know what they are doing. They also broke a motor mount, and damaged my upper control arms and sway bar links on both sides costing me additional money. These guys are clowns that have no business in the repair and automotive industry.
