Dave is just one honest mechanic. I had a tire that was giving me fits...it had a slow leak that I could not locate for the life of me. I first went to Mavis and two young guys looked at the tire and said it could not be repaired; tire had to be replaced. What I found interesting was one of the two said "I see the screw causing the leak and it is definitely unrepairable." The irony was he wasn't even pointing to the sheetrock screw the other kid identified. So they gave me a price of $279 installed for a new tire... I left and remembered seeing this little garage listed on Yelp, "Dave's Garage" and that's where I headed. Dave was by himself today and some guy had an appointment so he politely said, pull the Buick in, the guy is a half hour late already. He took the tire off, repaired

I had a great experience at this shop. Dave, the owner, is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything clearly. The work was done in a timely manner without cutting corners, and I appreciated how efficient the whole process was. No place better to take your car to in Venice OR surrounding areas! And if you’re a women who has been taken advantage of or you just can’t seem to trust other auto shops…. Go to this man as he is as honest as they get, fair, extremely knowledgeable and best price around. I had many, many cars in the past 40+ years and this guy is a gem.
