Needed a transmission replaced, along with so much more but wasn’t able to afford all the repairs at once, family members told us about DC auto. Let me tell you Coop was hands down honest persona and took care of my 2012 suburban got my baby back up and running. I will forever be a loyal customer, will definitely recommend him to others. I was trying to get home to Colorado, when I had car trouble. Dom was able to diagnose and fix a problem in 5 minutes. If you're in the area, or just passing through, this is the place to go!
Coming from a family of autoworkers who live a few hours away, DC Auto Shop is the only place I'll take my car now. They are super communicative and thorough in their work. I had some unexpected issues with my alternator just a few days before a big trip and Dom made sure I was taken care of and did a full check on my car to make sure no other issues would occur. They are honest, realistic, and caring in both work and character. They truly care about their customers and their vehicles. I cannot recommend DC Auto Shop enough. As long as I live within a drivable distance, I will be trusting my car with them.
These guys are fantastic. They are competent and don’t charge you anymore than is necessary. They got the work done, reliably and without completely breaking the bank. I have found my new mechanics! I highly recommend these guys and won’t be going anywhere else.
We are closer to the Iowa City area and yet from now on I will go out of my way to take my car here. Dom is incredibly detail-oriented and thorough with his work and will tell you what exactly needs done. The value that he provides far outshines other businesses in the county(considering another place screwed up my timing belt installation requiring a new replacement far sooner than is normal). From my experience he is flexible with repair scheduling and is quick to get your wheels back to you in great condition. My old 07' Santa Fe drives like a whole new car at this point! Do yourself a favor if you need work done and go here
