Dean's Automatic Transmission Service

Its hard to find good honest shops, and this is one. Dean is very knowledgable and helpful, and doesn't try to take advantage or oversell things. I had transmissions issues while driving through and Dean was very helpful over the phone in trying to troubleshoot the issue. He scanned my codes and after finding it was the throttle valve actuator, I was able to replace the part myself. I still wasn't able to clear the codes after installing the part, so I came back and he reset my codes and spent almost 30 minutes driving and watching the scanner to be sure there were no other issues - and didn't charge anything for the time. I really appreciated his help, and would be sure to use his services if needed in the future.

Dean's is an awesome transmission business. Like so many other reviews I saw before taking my car to Dean, he hooked his monitor to the car and rode with me driving so he could determine the cause of the issues I was experiencing. He gave me his honest opinion and did not do like a lot of places do and just try to take my money by saying I needed something that may or may not resolve all my issues. He will give you the good, the bad, and the ugly! This is a family owed business and not part of a big chain that just cares about money. They care about their customers and their reputation first and foremost! I trust Dean and will DEFINITELY take any of my cars to him if the need arises! HIGHLY recommend! Absolutely wonderful people. Honest answers, honest opinions. Dean takes time to go riding with you to really figure out your problem. Will always return, if it's an option.

We went on vacation to Gulf Shores AL. My transmission started acting up on way there, my husband called and spoke with Dean and him and his wife both went above and beyond to get my Tahoe in and fixed by Friday before we went home on Saturday. I could not thank them enough and the price was very reasonable under the circumstances. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Amazing service!!! Great people that really care about people!!! In the last 2 hours of our 13 hour drive the transmission in my GMC Yukon started acting up. Found Dean’s shop on Tuesday and was able to get a new transmission shipped in and installed by Friday. Thank you again for your amazing service and being genuine people that care about others.
