Decann's European

Decann is awesome. I came up from LA to do work nearby in my LR3 and my alternator died on a Friday night. I spent the weekend replacing it multiple times and the battery. No charging. Drove me nuts. Monday morning I valley a ton of places, everyone busy for days even months. I found Decann, he said he was busy but would look at it. I drove there, told him what I had done, etc. He told me how much up front, I didn't care, needed to get home. Within 2 hours, figured it out, ran a new ground cable. Amazing, I would never have found what he did and I usually fix at least 95% of my problems, takes me a while before I go to a mechanic. He is methodical, the fact that he put me in front of others is awesome, he hooked me up. I would drive from LA for him to fix my car, no joke. Support independe

Friendly Price Gouging . I Took my X5 in for check engine light. They charged me almost $300 just for the diagnostic and a verbal estimate for repair that seemed really high for the recommended repair. I think they thought I would just go ahead and have them do the work, but I took the X5 back the same day saying I wanted to check around. I was in a hurry when I picked my car up and just assumed a written repair quote was in the stack of papers I was handed when I payed the diagnostic fee. When I got home I saw that there was no written estimate included… just a diagnostic read out of the codes they checked. So I called and got the owner and I asked him if he could email me a written estimate. He responded like that was an odd thing to ask for…that he had give me the quote…and what

I will never recommend/use this business again. I made an appointment for routine service in late June and was given an appointment late July. Fine I was not in a hurry. Brought my car in on the appointment date, as shown on my appt card, and was told there is no appointment shown on my end, don't have time today, and the earliest date I can do service is to wait another month. Really?. Took my car to another local auto shop that did the service the next day.

Decann's European is my go-to shop for anything my car needs. The most important factor is choosing a car shop for me is honesty. They are up front with the details of the work that needs to be done and clear about pricing and options. Decann's guys are super friendly and helpful. I am happy to have found this place! Well worth the drive!

DeCann's European did a great job with my 2005 Jag. They were reasonably priced and timely. I am really happy to have found a local shop instead of going all the way to Sacramento. A bonus that the service is much better than Sacramento!
