Deer Meadows Retirement Community

If I could select no stars I would. The business office specifically Bernice Higgins is absolutely horrible. They have extremely nasty attitudes, and are ridiculously unprofessional. I would not recommend. The facilities are clean and nice, but dealing with the business office will make you regret your decision to place a loved one here. They have no trainings on how to be professional. They will also add charges to your bill unnecessarily. Once called, they fixed the bill resulting in a $40k reduction. Again, I do not recommend. The business staff needs training on how to be professional.

I had a sweet time today. I simply love your Social Worker Martina. She has been such a blessing to me. The staff was so kind today when I visited, and the people at the front desk were very accommodating

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! THEYADMITTED ME EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD NO HOT WATER!!!! SERVED ME CLUMPY ROTTEN MILK!!! (The generator had been down for days) A week ago today the facility HAD NO RUNNING WATER!! Once they did have water THERE IS NO HOT WATER. The fire alarm went off 3x in one night 12:30am!! No one came to say it's just the electric going in and out!!??? So imagine being woken up to the blaring fire alarm and no one comes to say it's alright. And you can't get up by yourself??? OH did I mention the call bells weren't working either??? I've been here since 10/28 with no hot water. Had to go to a whole different wing to shower.. The director of the home came to say. Oh it will be hot water today (it's a whole new day and guess what??? STILL NO HOT WATER!!!)

My wife's brother is here and a number of us when to see him and one of the female staff went and brought back chairs for his 3 sisters and his brother to be able to sit and spend time with him. He was only admitted the day before but the diagnosed treatment is positive in as short a time period as possible.

The staff at Deer Meadows is extremely professional and caring. They ensure your loved one is well taken care of.
