I've dealt with these guys a few times and I cannot say enough good things about them. They are simply the best transmission place in central Florida, if not the entire state. Their knowledge of transmissions is unparalleled (even the lady in the office was knowledgeable, helpful, and very sweet). They do thorough diagnostics, great repair, and are very easy to deal with. As such a small shop, I knew it would be 1-2 weeks for the repair, but if I'm getting the best work, I will gladly wait. They are trustworthy, professional, and experts in the transmission field. It's clear that anyone that had a "bad experience" with this shop are just the kind of people that *somehow* have bad experiences everywhere they go.

To make a long story as short as I can. I had a squeak in my right front wheel when turning left. (Jeep Wrangler). So I almost never put in 4x4 so I thought I’d put it in 4 wheel and drive around my property in deland just to see. After that my check engine light came on. Went to Oreillys where they ran a scan for codes. Came up with a transmission solenoid pack D fault. I bought the part and was trying to put it in myself But ran into issues getting the wire harness unplugged from the trans. I had already pulled the trans pan, loosened the valve body , removed shift linkage etc. the fluid in the pan was not that dirty and no metal in the pan, none on the magnet. So I put it all back together, put new fluid back in it and took it to Deland Transmission. They said they had som

My vehicle was ready ahead of schedule! So thankful for the team at Deland Transmission! I had a “Transmission Malfunction “ message on my 2007 Ford F150 Lariat. After checking with a couple mechanic friends, I was advised to go to Deland Transmission… I am so happy with the referral and the results. Starting with the initial communication to the final pick up everything was professional and the final price was exactly to the penny as quoted. The price was also very fair, compared to some other quotes. I was stuck in a house with no water or electricity, at the time and they knew that I needed to be able to get back on the road. If you have a transmission problem, check it out right away and if you need service, don’t hesitate to take your vehicle to Deland Transmission!

It is hard for me to write only one star . First they worked on our Chevy Traverse which was warrantied transmission rebuild . They were awesome , and told the warranty company what is what because they are not a great company at all . Then they were working on our 2002 civic for shift cable , would have been lights ( but needed the car and it was taking too long for me full transparency)and they diagnosed a transmission leak due to CV Axle . I know we are in modern times , but I don’t know that it’s good for a place that does this type of work to only respond via text message . I’m sure they get a lot and sometimes seem bothered just because we check on our car. I had to get the part . Then the time frame for what they were going to do kept shifting . When it finally got narrowed to

So, I bought my son a 2016 Focus for his first car. If you're not aware, these have notoriously difficult automatic transmissions, called the DSP6 PowerShift transmission. We found a leak, and had problematic shifting and the dreaded overheat warning, so I called around to find a place that will work on the DSP6 and not many shops will! Fortunately, Deland Transmissions does, and they found that the seal between the TCM and the transmission body was the leak point, and the TCM was our problem with shifting. They replaced the TCM and seal, updated all software to the latest approved version from Ford, and I could not be happier. I put about 120 miles on the transmission almost immediately after picking it up, highway and to the airport. No overheating, super smooth shifting, and after
