Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett Senior Living

I have not been able to personally visit Delmar Gardens but my sister who is the primary care giver for our Mom keeps the family informed on the wonderful care Mom is receiving in Memory Care (Enriched Living). From the management staff to the day to day care team, everyone calls Mom, Mom and keeps all the family informed. There are days when Mom just wants to talk and they've even called at the end of their shift so that we can talk to her and calm her down in the evenings. We wouldn't be able to cope with the significant decline in Mom's cognitive awareness without the support of such a professional, knowledgeable and caring and courteous team.

I placed my mom in this nursing home for her rehab period after her knee replacement. This place has been a God send. The Administrator, her Assistant, the Therapists, the Nurses and the Housekeeping staff are fabulous! The facility is so ecstatically pleasing and super clean! My mom told me that she’ll actually miss this place when she is released. When was the last time you heard someone enjoy being at a nursing home, especially when you’re self sufficient? One word describes Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett, WOW!!!

Delmar Gardens at Gwinnett is a great place to live. My mom had a wonderful time for four years until see passed away. I would live there myself. The staff was like my family and cryed with me when we lost mom. They loved her and made sure she was well taken care of.

I went for a visit 2/26/25 Del Mar Gwinett. We are in a time crunch with my moms situation. The individual who runs the sales department told Jona Payne (Eldervizer helping narrow choices) that there was a studio available. When I arrived I met with Georgia who is filing in and she indicated only a one bedroom which is more than my mother can afford. I would tell the company, if you are planning to promote Georgia to a sales role - DON'T I found her energy bland and uncaring about our situation. She did not provide options such as, if you take the regular room we can add your mom to a studio waiting list. The attitude felt like too bad, so sad. Needless to say, We have moved on. I would not go back or to their Smyrna location at this point.

My mother in law was very ill and we had to find a facility for hospice care. Del-Mar welcomed us with open arms. Every member of their staff treated us with compassion and kindness. The assistant A director Georgia was especially helpful in getting us set up. This place was fantastic.
