I haul bulk loads, and its a busy place, alot of cars and trucks unloading at once, only 1 scale so you have to take turns, every trip I there is different so I can't really say how your trip in will go, but I arrived at lunch time so I was already expecting to waite until after lunch, loader man started loading and the driver has to be out of the truck during that time, I got over loaded by 6k and had to waite almost an hour to get that taken off, but the crane was busy so its to be expected, all in all wasn't terrible just little waite and alot of traffic, when you pull on the scale, walk into the little door on the drivers side, they will get your info and tell you where to go, everyone was friendly and respectful, very patient, There are alot of DH Griffin trucks in and out, alot of cr

Coming here is like a little vacation to Europe. You show your ID to enter, the staff is bilingual, none of the roads have street signs, you have to stop and ask for directions a few times inside, there all sorts of vehicles you've never seen before. Make sure your tires are in good shape- there's literally sharp scraps of metal all over the 'roads' (as one should expect.) Next time I hope they stamp my passport.

I guess we will do a pros and cons here. As a whole I do find DH Griffin to be a good place. They have good prices and the people that work there are for the most part professional. Well except the guy that works in the scale house. I'm an individual and not affiliated with any company. The dude in the scale house ask me my name and gives me that " sure it is" and then when I go to dump he has 2 or 3 workers to come and check that the things I have are legit. It's just a feeling of looking down on me because I'm not bringing in tractor trailer loads of metal worth thousands. Just a guy trying to supplement his Income by picking up trash from the side of the road . 4 stars only because i think the guys there could of been i little more helpful. But all in all its a good place to find used auto parts but supply is limted to about50 to 75 vehicles.

They are always very nice and will help you the best they can. They give you a fair price when it comes to selling different types of metals and other such items. It really blows my mind the stuff you can take to them and they can dispose of it properly they have the connections for that weird and odd stuff people don't know what to do with.
