If I could give zero stars, I would. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience here, but it will definitely be the last. The owner has a terrible attitude and clearly takes advantage of customers with outrageous pricing. Most recently, they replaced a part that involved removing just two bolts, yet charged me for two full hours of labor. I called around—including the actual dealer—and confirmed that Diamond Auto charged twice as much as the dealer for the same job. Other local shops quoted prices at or below what the dealer charges. To make matters worse, on one of my previous visits they’ve actually messed up work on my car. When I brought it up, they refused to take responsibility—claiming I didn’t come back “soon enough,” as if that justifies poor workmanship. I don’t know

THIS REVIEW IS COMING FROM A LONG-TIME CUSTOMER WHO NEVER LEAVES REVIEWS! After this past weekend, I felt compelled to share my experience. I recently purchased a 2021 Hyundai Elantra from a certified pre-owned dealership, and it was time for its first oil change since purchase. I brought the car to Gary for the service. On Sunday, while driving in Salisbury, Maryland, the car suddenly stopped accelerating. The check engine light came on, along with the red oil warning light. I immediately pulled over and discovered oil leaking heavily from the car. It was Sunday—no mechanics were open. We were forced to leave the vehicle on the side of the road and take an Uber with all of our belongings to the beach. The next morning, we arranged a tow through AAA and lined up a mechanic. October 2024, my 2013 Audi Q5 truck had issues so diamonds was the safest place to pull over it was during opening hours the mechanics on duty which was an African-American male and two Caucasian males at that time. It was decided that I received a quote and was quoted $6000 because it was an engine related issue I found out in March 25’ that my truck was covered with warranty through marathon group so I decided to take it back up there due to their reputable service and the quote that they gave me of $6000 (a verbal quote over the phone) to repair or replace the engine once the inspector from the marathon group came out I was called by GARY the owner and quoted that marathon group would cover $5125 but I would need an additional $4000. I expressed to him that that is not what I was quoted

I love these guys, l can't say enough about them. Everyone helpful from phone to mechanical service. I usually have Chris help me because he has great experience with Older Classics as he is one also 🤣 lol (kidding) Truly l will only let these guys work on my car. A 1957 Chevy Belair l love. I know Chris will do research at home to figure out an issue or hunt down a cheaper price for a part to get the job done right there first time.
