Dingman's Towing and Recovery LLC

This is a very late review but I can’t say enough good things about both the operators and office staff. My car was towed from in front of my house after it was declared abandoned. I got in touch with Dingmans the day it happened, the woman I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. I was (very graciously) given three days to set some things up and find a place for the car. I was told if I paid them within that timeframe I would only be charged for the hookup. Not only was I only charged for the hook, it sat on their lot for 2 days, and they transported the car over to the west shore all for $400. Not to mention transporting the car was a pain for the driver because of how low it is. I have always had terrible experiences with tow companies, especially with a modified and very low car. Th

My experience with them was extremely bad. If I could rate them, I'd give them zero stars. My daughter's car skidded, and the police called for their help. 1- The workers' manner of speaking to us was extremely poor. 2- They needed two towing sfor towing, even though my daughter's car is very small. Way overpriced and the lady who answers the phone is extremely rude, called me condescending when she was the one being condescending (I didn’t call her any names). They only accept cash payment… hmmmm I wonder why. I was also told in order to make a payment I have to make an appointment. Who operates like this? Edit: Thank you for the lengthy explanation of how your business operates. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t address the actual issue I raised,the rude, condescending behavior on the phone. Dealing with Dingman's is like a step back into the not too distant good old day's! When's the last you walked into a business or spoke over the phone and it literally felt like their policy is "We will treat humans like humans and as long as they are decent (ie: not looking for a discount or treat local businesses like their the same as Walmart) - we will do everything possible to ensure a win for the customer is a win for us! TL:DR Company vehicle towed over the holidays into the New Year's. Dingman's could have charged their daily rate, regardle$$ of the 'holiday$'; still would be right here giving them a great review!
