Discount Smog Test Only

Anthony, one of the service workers, gave me 5 star service. He was very friendly and informative. When I had a flat tire he replaced it for me quickly and efficiently. Discount Smog is the best smog and tire mechanic in the Riverside área. When I needed them the most, they provided excellent service and I left a happy customer!

Went here last week to get a smog test done on my car. Long story short, they were knowledgeable, friendly, and fast even though I came in right before closing. If, or when, I need to get another smog test done, I would go there specifically because of the service. Thanks guys!

The technician failed to perform the necessary computer pre-check before starting the smog test. Because my battery had been recently disconnected, my vehicle's computer did not have enough mileage data for a complete, accurate test—a known issue that should have been caught by the pre-check. Due to their oversight, I had to pay almost double for a retest. I'm rating 3 stars because outside of this significant error, the service was fast and efficient. This review is intended as constructive criticism: I strongly urge the business to ensure all technicians perform the simple computer pre-check on every vehicle moving forward to prevent customers from having to pay for unnecessary retests.
