Discount Tire

I had an excellent experience at Discount Tire in Abilene. I was traveling from Austin when my BMW’s run-flat tire gave out, and I needed to get back the same day. Despite their busy schedule, Ross went above and beyond to take care of me. He fit me in quickly, addressed the issue right away, and had me back on the road in no time. Ross’s professionalism and exceptional customer service truly stood out. On top of that, the store was clean and well-maintained, and even the bathrooms were spotless — which made the whole experience even better. I’m very grateful for their help and highly recommend this location to anyone in need of tire service!

I went to this store a few days ago and had to buy a new tire when it should have just been patched and the guy that changed it stripped out every one of my locked lug nuts. I can't believe these people are so incompetent and stupid. How the hell do you strip out every one of my lug nuts. Don't take your car here because these guys are screwing up people's car and charging them for things they don't need. They damaged my car.

Always enjoy discount and them fixing issues until today. Prior service cross treaded 2 lugs so badly what when I had to change the tiren due to a flat. I had to break the studs to put on a spare so my wife could get home. And I'm told that the policy is they won't touch it or replace it or even recommend a place to get the studs fixed.

I love Discount tire! I have been a customer for 11 years now and will always choose them. They always provide excellent customer service and are the best at what they do. Thank you to Colby for the new tire consultation, sold us a full set plus new wiper blades! Thank you to the crew who got us taken care of and out of there in an hour and a half. You all are so amazing thank you!

They are never really direct with their times here, and will fail to let you know that it can be upwards of 3 hours before they even touch your vehicle. I believe those sort of things should be more transparent, but it appears they are more concerned about making a sale than they are about customer service. Please be more direct with your customers on time as that can affect if someone truly wishes to give you their business. I will give them 3 stars though because the warranty they have for tires is top notch, but if anyone knows of other places in town that has tires please let me know, as I may begin to look elsewhere, even though I have been a customer here for over 15+ years now. Just can't stand getting jerked around like they do here to their customers.
