I've had issues with torn beads on my tires after having them switched here twice now. Last winter I had to buy new tires because the beads were torn when they removed them the previous spring, and I didn't know until I showed up to have them put back on. Today, I had the new tires (blizzacs, good tire) put back on, went to Meijer and by the time I was out, had a flat. I brought it back and my warranty covers it, but they told me the bead was torn. So they either tore it when I had them taken off and didn't catch it before they put it back on, or they tore it putting it back on and didn't inspect that it was good to go. This being the second time it's happened to me, id recommend winter tire changes elsewhere. My alignment ended up off this spring after having my winter tires taken off. I'

Every time my family and I have gone here we have had an amazing experience. Very friendly and personal. I personally have spoken with Cody the last few times I have been there and he is always easy to talk to and explains things super well. The last time I went in to get my winter tires put on and my windshield wiper had broken earlier that week in a snowstorm and I had just bought new windshield wipers but had no time or idea how to put them on. When I got my car back they had been put on without a second thought. I didn’t even ask or think about asking, they just did that for their customers! My family and I love them!

I used Discount tire for years downstate and I was glad they opened a store in Marquette. The staff here is always really friendly and helpful. The service has been fast and they have done good work for us.

The ease of ordering online and scheduling an appointment online was great! Once I got there for my 4:45 installation appointment, I sat and waited while they took in walk-in after walk-in before they finally brought my car back to a bay over an hour after my appointment time. What is the point of making an appointment if you put walk ins in front of appointments? It was extremely frustrating to see the 4 customers behind me in line when I arrived to check in (all 4 of them were walk ins) get taken care of and leave the store before my car was even moved from the parking lot to the bay. I must say, once in the bay, it was very quick! BUT...walk in's should never come before appointments, especially when those with appointments are delayed for over an hour while walk-ins are being take

I went here for a few years with no issues, but the last two times make me too nervous to return. Once, my husband's wheel was put back together wrong, so there was a horrible scraping noise that made us turn right back around to get it fixed, they said someone just didn't put it back together right. But the worse time was when I got new tires put on, drove a few miles out of town onto 28, and suddenly lost all pressure in one wheel. Fortunately I had time to pull over, but I had a completely flat tire. Called back 5 minutes before they closed, so someone was able to drive out to help me get the car back to the shop after hours to fix the problem. Good thing they were still open when I called...
