I had a great experience at Discount Tire & Service Centers in North Hollywood today. The team was professional, efficient, and very helpful from the moment I arrived. They took care of several services for my vehicle including tire service and rotation, brake repair, battery replacement, air and cabin filter replacement, and an A/C recharge, and everything was completed smoothly. What really stood out was how clearly they explained what my car needed and how quickly they got the work done without sacrificing quality. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process stress free. This place is great. Efficient, transparent and excellent customer service. I was in and out within an hour and thirty minutes to get my terminals replaced. David greeted me at the counter, took my keys and the team went to work as soon as they were able to. It looked like they were helping 4 other customers at the same time so I'm surprised my car was completed so quickly. The level of competence and care is top tier. They do full service other than tire replacement and I would encourage anyone to do all of their car service needs here. They were the ones who were there when my car needed the best care.

Avoid this shop if you have a lowered or performance vehicle. I brought in my 2015 Mustang S550 (lowered 2 inches on 275/35 tires) for a solution to severe inner tire wear. I was quoted $2,260 for a 'kit' that turned out to be nothing more than $60 worth of camber bolts and hardware-store washers/shims. When I pointed out that a 2-inch drop on this chassis physically requires Adjustable Rear Camber Arms and Caster/Camber Plates to stand the tires up straight, the tech (who kept calling me 'buddy') became incredibly defensive. He actually told me he would 'challenge' the engineering and millions of dollars in R&D from companies like Steeda, J&M, and Maximum Motorsports, claiming his 'bolt & washer' method was superior.
