I highly recommend this shop! Mr. Mike is very honest and transparent from the 1st day I called to inquire about pricing for my Nissan Maxima, to finishing my car up in two days! I was shocked. He gave me a timeframe and followed through exactly as he said. I purchased my own transmission from Transtar, although he warned me what could potentially happen he still installed it for me at an affordable rate that didn’t change. He also calibrated the transmission for me so I wouldn’t have to spend additional money at the dealership for my warranty to be valid. He’s a honest man. To the women who needs a trustworthy mechanic I’m telling you go to Mike! He’s not going to take advantage of you. Definitely will be doing business with him again! Thank you so much. Kambreyn.

I got 2 of my cars’ transmissions rebuilt at Discount Transmission. I found a friendly setup at this business, easy to feel comfortable right away. The jobs done were excellent. I drove the Honda accord for nearly 180 k miles in 10 years with no issues with the rebuilt transmission. The other car, a Ford Taurus also kept running with the rebuilt transmission as well before I sold it 2 years later. It is very easy to approach the owner, Mike, to discuss any questions or concerns. The price for services changed here is very reasonable. I give this business 5 stars and would like to recommend to everybody who has transmission issues with his/her vehicle.

Mike rebuild my 2015 Chevy Malibu Transmission. It been a month now and my car is running great. He has good Customer service and answer every question I had. Thanks Mike and will Recommend you to my friends.

I have done business with this place before and now I'm not getting any help on the repairs on my transmission job that they did on my jeep. The owner Mike said the warranty is run out and I'm on my own, After paying him $2800. last year and bring it back to him 4 times he is not offering any help to fix it,, now its in another shop and it is going to cost me another $1900.00 to fix up his bad rebuild job, Buyer beware .Not good customer service here. I feel betrayed by this last attempt to get help from this shop. Don't go here.
