Absolutely horrible I’m giving them one star I have no choice but they just ripped me off $616. I brought my car in because it was stalling. They told me it was 598+ tax went to pick up my car. They did not fix the issue and this guy tells me after I paid, they knew they couldn’t fix the issue instead of telling us, they fix something else and give me the car with the same issue, and he said we can still fix it is just going to cost more. The engine lights on stalling continues. He’s like just press on the gas fast it won’t stall, first thing it did was stall when I left the garage. I only went there because my husband been bringing his car there for years and never had an issue but we will never be going back there.

Complete con artists. They take advantage of women knowing we don’t know much about cars. I asked for a print out of exactly what the issue is and what it would cost to fix and they claimed he couldn’t give me that because he didn’t know the cost of the parts yet but gave me a quote of over $800 for what they said was spark plugs issue, oil change & battery corrosion. This seemed ridiculously high and I expressed that and their response was the spark plugs were difficult to get to and the Labour would take them more than 5 hours. They also charged me $65 diagnostic test to find out the problem with car and charged me over $600 for what they said was spark plug issues & corroded battery that caused my car to shut off on me. Only for it to continuously break down & stall on me right after

One of the worst mechanic shops around Rhode Island, went in for an oil change and was charged $90. Also they checked my exhaust and said it needed to be fixed and they quoted me $400 went to a different place and got told it was just a missing screw that needed adjustment and only was charged $40.

This place was not able to help me with my problem, that being said they were very honest with me where some mechanics would have tried to swindle me, the tool they needed was very expensive and they informed me it would be cheaper to bring it to a place that has the tool already, they were very apologetic and that goes a long way in my book!! I did find a place that could do the repair and thanked the owners Cesar and Alfredo for the straight honesty that they gave me!!! I would recommend this place 100 times over and will be doing business with them again!!!

I have an older car which I was experiencing a substantial oil leak as well as I needed to replace a rear suspension crossmember/cradle. I contacted Division Brakes. Cesar and Alfredo were quite helpful honest and sincere. The repairs took approximately a week to complete and they allowed me to purchase the parts I needed for the completion, although the labor was a bit expensive. Cesar called me a few times to tell me the status of my ongoing repairs.I would take my car their again for future services and would recommend others to take their car to Division Brakes as well.
