Kind, communicative, efficient, good value. All around great experience! Mariano (sorry if I got this wrong!) and others at the front desk were patient and thorough answering my questions and helping me find solutions. This Dixon’s auto shop was able to present me with a price that beat out all of the other shops I had contacted. On top of that, they fit me into the schedule right away, and the wait was even shorter than I’d expected. Minutes after I checked my car in, Mariano updated me that the staff had inspected my car and confirmed that the repair another shop had told me I needed was indeed warranted. On my way from Fla. to Md. when alternator light came on outside of Mechanicsville. Our local relative directed us to their regular mechanic, Dixon’s and they agreed to check out the van. They took us immediately. One mechanic removed the old part while another drove to pick up the new alternator. Total time start to finish was only about 3 hours. Can’t say enough about the service. Our relatives are lucky to have them so close. Thank you Dixon’s for for taking care my wife and me.

Everyone there was very nice and helpful. They took the time to show me what was going on with my car and explained everything. They got me in quickly also. First time in a long while I felt comfortable with being in a mechanic shop.

The employees are incredibly nice and welcoming people. They consistently go above and beyond for their customers to ensure services are finished a timely manner. They are very friendly and fun to deal with. The building itself is very well maintained and the interior is clean. The wacky waving inflatable tube man outside is always entertaining and eye-catching from the road. The *only* downside is that they do not have a shop dog. A nice furry friend to keep you company while waiting for your vehicle would be the perfect addition to this already wonderful business. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Over the course of a month my 2016 F-150 has need some repairs. With 198k miles it is understandable. - Wanted to get the front and rear differentials serviced, catalytic converter replaced, transmission flushed and figure out an oil smell (suspected a valve cover gasket). The guys provided upfront costs, so I went into the service knowing what I was getting into. Turns out had to replace two cracked valve cover gaskets, catalytic converter was replaced, got the differentials serviced. Got my truck back quickly and all was well. About 2 days later, check engine came on. Took it back and Dixon's informed the new catalytic converter was bad, but it was under warranty so they replaced it again. (I know they were not happy to do that work again, but you could tell from their response). E
