Dollar Car Rental - Boston Logan International Airport

I had a confirmed reservation for 5:00 PM. Despite this, I did not leave the facility with a vehicle until 9:25 PM—more than four hours later. As a direct result of this delay, I missed the reason I traveled to Boston. Waiting an hour for a rental car is frustrating but sometimes understandable. Waiting over four hours is completely unacceptable, particularly when your system allows customers to book timed reservations that your operation is clearly unable to honor. Absolute clown show. I will never use this company again.

Aggressively forced into an up sale of car insurance. Had to wait outside in the freezing cold for 20 Minutes for the car attendant to assign me a car. Once my car was assigned, I was given a car that was NOT fully charged! Yet I’m expected to give back a car that’s fully charged. When I asked for a fully charged car I was told “This is the one you get take it and go.” then he rudely tossed the keys in my direction. The final bill has SO many changes that I have no idea what they are!

The rental counter had a line but it went smoothly enough with only one person behind the desk. Then you exit into the garage and talk to the service agent to facilitate getting a car pulled up. At that time it was 2:20pm and was instructed that it would take 30 minutes to an hour. OK, we waited and noticed other people in line who was ahead and behind us getting a vehicles. We waited and asked about the car at 3:45pm but just got a "your in line" answer. So, I called dollar customer service. Unfortunately, they were not able to help as we booked it through price line. She was able to provide me a customer service number to get a hold of them. Once they got on the phone price line put me on hold to reach out to their customer service. My experience was great 💁. The guy at the desk was super nice. Reading though the reviews I'm seeing a lot of things that don't really warrant a single star. The signage was fine, the car had 11 miles on it, and we got through the entire process so fast. This was thanksgiving break btw

Bella from Boston Car Rental Center provided exceptional service and truly went above and beyond. After I accidentally left a personal item in the rental car, she took the extra time and effort to help track it down and make sure it was safely recovered. Throughout the process, she was kind, professional, and incredibly responsive, which made a potentially stressful situation completely worry-free. Bella’s dedication and genuine care for customers really stood out. Excellent service—I can’t thank her enough and would highly recommend her to anyone renting a car.
