Dollar Car Rental - Gainesville Regional Airport

I had a very positive experience. I arrived about 30 minutes prior to my original posted time. I only had to wait approximately 15 minutes or less. The female staff person was extremely nice and friendly. The vehicle ended up being a free upgrade since they did not have available the original selected vehicle. The vehicle was clean and fresh with a full tank of gas. I would use them again and recommend others the same.

No interest in picking up car on time. No paper work ready or anybody there for 20 minutes. Another 20 minutes to ask the same questions answered on ordering. Completely unprofessional

This was first time using the company and I will definitely use again especially if I get the same experience. Everything from the rental process to the pick up to extending rental with detailed pricing was super simple for this extremely busy working mother. I appreciate the experience.

This is for the 2 Wonderful ladies Behind Dollar Rent A Cars Counter at Gainesville Regional Airport. Those 2 Incredibly Over Worked Employees, I don't know if either One was a Manager or NOT. Every Airport Job Short Staffed for this Holiday Weekend with full flights coming in, and running short of Rental SUV's, Only Having One SUV left, a Jeep Wrangler which my Body Can Not tolerate. The moment I alerted the Dollar Desk, The Young Lady immediately addressed my concerns, then She put me into a Newly Returned SUV Not even having time to Maintain, Clean or Wash This Traverse SUV up. I Took the Key Fob that this Intuitive & Kind Woman had just grabbed from the Recently Returned Rental Box. This Was The Perfect Ride for Us. If fact I can Actually Say that I Truly Enjoyed This SUV's Ride. This

After I booked my rental car through Expedia.com, I need to say that the Dollar Rental Car Company Customer Service Representative at the counter did not tell me that there would be a large cleaning fee if I don't get the cleaning service done myself. It didn't looked that bad either! He had no problem verbally telling me that Dollar will charge me for gas if it's returned not full, but he never verbally told me I would be charged for a cleaning fee if I don't arrange for cleaning on my own. Talk about hidden fees!
