Dollar Car Rental - Grand Junction Regional Airport

There is no way to find out how much insurance will cost before hand. And there is no way to call the local office in Grand Junction airport to ask. I tried calling dollar at other airports in Colorado that were actually at the airport location and got hung up on because they said they were busy. I was just trying to understand how much I would be paying for coverage before I arrived. Unfortunately there is no way to do this with dollar.

This company is a scam! I haven't even driven the car yet, and I had a bad experience. I called and made a reservation. They took my money but gave me no confirmation number. I called saying it is not in the system. Now I have to dispute it with my bank. Hopefully, I can get my money back.

DO NOT rent from Hertz/dollar, they might charge you with vehicle damage interior or exterior at their own discretion whether you did so or not. They are saying I damaged a back seat seat belt with a tear in it, even though I had no passengers ever ride in the car. Complete fraud I believe it is a way to cook the books by filing insurance claims.

Just rented a car there this past weekend from Friday-Sunday 5/2-5/4. First, drop off instructions were not clear for after hours. My flight was at 5am and the car was dropped off around 340am approx. It was parked in the same stall i picked it up from (ROW C-STALL 10) and then dropped the key at the only key drop box in front of their counter which had HERTZ name on it, i dropped it in there at 3:49am. I finally get a receipt today, Monday the 5th, and they charged me an extra day, saying i didnt return the car on the day i was suppposed to 5/4. First off, yes i did. Secondly, i know you have cameras to catch these things, especially for after hour drops. There is no way noone did not see that car there all day yesterday or even check to see if i dropped it off since it was due ye

Picked up my car from this location and the woman had a bad attitude. I was told that if there was damage on the car more than a "dink" i needed to come back inside. So i was trying to clarify what a dink is and she went off on me like I was inconveniencing her for asking. After reading the reviews about people being forced to pay for damage they did not cause, I was not taking any chances. I get that good help is hard to find, but there are some people who should not be working with the public. The only redeeming factor was the guy who came with me to the lot because she could not be bothered to answer my question. Promote him to being an agent and send her packing.
