Dollar Car Rental

Very bad customer service. Corae was the person at the counter. It took him forever to pull out my reservation information and very bad attitude. I’m not sure why he had to asked my last name for 5 times unless he has very bad memory. Also didn’t give my insurance card back to me, not telling me why he left. I had to asked other staff to know where was him. Oh almost forgot to mentioned he gave me a wrong car. When I was about to drive that car away, another guy told me it was the wrong car and he will give me another car. VERY VERY BAD experience. If any Hertz manager see this review, please give some proper trainings to your staffs.

Receipt makes no sense, charged me without telling me, the insurer of the person who hit me should have paid everything. Update: Deceptive and misleading at the Irving Branch, told me their protection plan was only 120 $ not a different charge per day of rental. Lying to take people's money. Also asked to be contacted in March via the Hertz website, guaranteed response in 72 hrs. Never got one. When I returned the car they stated that was all, no outstanding dues, thought was sent a bill in error which is why I made an inquiry in the first place that they never responded too. My credit score suffered when I was sent a bill the next month. Not even upset that I was tricked into signing for a very expensive protection plan but the fact I was told differently when returning the car and my c

Warning! The employees here are trained (per the employee!)to mislead you into spending more than you plan to. I was given the “choice” of basic or premium insurance coverage, no choice at all for no additional coverage. I declined the advanced coverage with no intention of paying for insurance through Hertz. Upon rental return, I found that not only was I charged for insurance, but also an advanced road side package I never even heard of. Employee in store shrugged me off and begged me not to write this honest review as it would impact him, yet had no problem charging me more in fees than my rental was worth. Don’t be fooled by a nice employee, feels like an act used to lure you into unwanted extras.

After 3 hours on the phone with corporate hertz and having a prepaid reservation, a gentleman at this rental location saved my rental and got me in a car in less than 15 min. I ended up hanging up on corporate. After he arrived and I talked to him, he made a phone call and had me in my car in less than 15 minutes. He seemed the only capable employee with a good attitude and knew how to get something done. Two other employees were cold, short, and not helpful upon initial arrival. The 4 star instead of 5 was due to terrible corporate support on the phone and other employees. It would have been 0 if he hadn't been there, and I could give 0.

Awful, dismissive, won't follow BASIC SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES even when asked to please put their mask on... Though I appreciate the manager going out of his way to apologise for his employee, that's just not enough to give this more than a one star rating. Just AWFUL. Do your research, go elsewhere. Obviously, our safety is NOT your priority.
