Dollar Rent a Car

This is my second time renting from Dollar Rental. The first was from Sai in Oxnard which was a great experience. This time while dealing with the frustration of having my car again in shop, I appreciated their service and making the rental process easy. They went above and beyond by picking me up from my home since I was just 5min away, they saved me having to pay an Uber. Arman gave me a great deal for the 2 weeks of rental and I appreciated his professionalism, kindness, and courteous service. I will definitely use them again for my rentals needs. Just side note, reservations online do not immediate transfer for rental confirmation so its best to call them directly....Thank you so much Arman and Masih...

Go with Turo or Enterprise instead… They advertise and allow booking for holiday returns but at pickup they charge an extra day. My $262 charge turned into almost $800 for a dirty corolla. Go to Enterprise or Turo instead. We deserve better. Turo and Enterprise have upfront and clear charges.

Made an online reservation for a minivan 30 days in advance for a family trip and called the store two days before pick-up to confirm availability. I received a confident “Yes,” so I expected everything to go smoothly. However, when I arrived at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, there was no minivan available which I needed take my extended family to the airport by noon. While the manager was helpful and assured me he could get the vehicle by 4:00 p.m., this didn’t help since I needed the minivan for a time-sensitive purpose. He did make an effort to call me at 11:00 a.m. to try to assist, but by that point, it was too late. In the end, I didn't get the service I needed. It seems this location may not be fully equipped for specific requests like a minivan, so it could be fine for a basic sedan or SUV r

Dollar Rent a Car in Simi Valley had great customer service. I needed a car fast and they worked with me to find one, even delivering it to my house for me. I had to extend my rental multiple times and there were no issues getting ahold of anyone to assist me. I recommend them to anyone needing a rental.

I made a reservation a month ago Today I went to pick up my car and they told me they didn’t have any cars available!!!! The counter person was very rude and the only option was to upgrade for $60 more I was not happy very unprofessional !! He was like are you going to take it or not I have Costner in line ! I couldn’t believe what was happening NEVER AGAIN USING THIS COMPANY THANK GOD I went down the street to Herzt and I found the same car and the customer service was amazing
