Dorwart's Garage

I was trying to find somewhere (from long-distance) that was cheap although knowledgeable and competent that my son (kid at Camp Lejeune) could take his 2012 car having starter problems. It turned out the needed repair was cheaper than we planned for (needed new terminal posts is all, not a starter), they didn't try to upsell, they charged less for diagnosis and small repair than numerous competitors wanted to just take a look at the car, and again, didn't try to upsell or in any way at all extract unnecessary charges from a kid on an E-2 salary. They have earned a customer for the next three years for sure.

As a tow truck driver in the community, I can give nothing but respect to this garage. They have phenomenal customer service and good pricing. Due to the nature of my job, I have the pleasure of stopping by many shops. This one however happens to be one of my favorites here in Jacksonville. This is the only place where I will take my car for any services that is needed to maintain it. I am satisfied every time I pick up my vehicle.

Dorwart's garage is by far the best mechanic shop I've been to in Jacksonville. The staff there are really nice as well as professional.

I have to day this is the best garage I have found! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable! I drive a Mini Cooper, so servicing my vehicle is never cheap, and mini mechanics are hard to come by! These guys know there way around minis, and are up front with pricing! Much better experience than a Mini dealership! Definitely 5 stars!

Dorwart’s Garage is awesome. They actively try to save you money. They know the car quirks, especially MINI Coopers. They don’t mock you for bringing in a dirty car. Well, most of the time. Ok, so they may mock a little but they don’t charge extra or make you clean up what falls off.
