Excellent service! They were friendly, communicative and understanding when discussing my options. Pascal is very knowledgeable and honest, I ended up getting a my car fixed for inspection at a better price than what was quoted at my local Honda dealership, and in a shorter time frame as well. Every part of the repair was explained via email with photographs and plain-english descriptions, and the response time was snappy. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Briarcliff Auto to anyone looking for a friendly and capable auto service.

Pascal and his wife are professional, polite, and treat you like family. They are an honest business with reasonable prices. He even showed me a picture where the repair needed to be done on my transmission. Got me out of there in time to pick up the toddler from school. Even offered to drive me there if my car wasn't done. I highly recommend getting your car serviced there.

I have deleted my old review to make it easier and not give you opinion but the truth. Stay away from Briarcliff Auto Services. And these are the reasons why. Pascal and his entire shop does not have any vehicle type of certification. Therefore when they make a repair it a luck shot to see if they are right. I know I had 4 pedals, 3 throttles, and 2 cruise controls added. So talk about no knowledge. Pascal is passive aggressive. He will not call or return calls, emails or texts until you flip out and then he won’t work with you. He is dishonest and a thief. He has not responded to 2 calls and mail from the better business bureau. What is he hiding? Nothing to hide when you’re incompetent. So stay away find a place that is open and honest.

After trying multiple times at other repair shops I was recommend Pascal and crew to deal with a turbo problem I was having on my Santa Fe. They were able to diagnose the problem and recalibrate things into working condition. What sets Pascal apart is he seems to be a real master in his trade and all around nice person. I’m 37 years old, and since I’ve been able to drive at 16, I have never found a “go to” mechanic. The expression “honest mechanic” became an oxymoron in my experience. I stumbled across Double R by accident, and I’m SO glad I did. I knew of Pascal years ago, and he was as charismatic and friendly then as he is now. There’s just something about his shop that’s different. They’re extremely thorough and take pictures while they’re performing a service so you can see exactly what’s going on. Prices are fair, he doesn’t push things on you, and he looks at the big picture of your car’s life and gives tips so it will last. So it’s taken me a little over 20 years of driving, but I think I found my go to mechanic!
