If this company tows your car good luck getting it back. My car was towed without permission from a permitted lot. They towed it without permission. State police had to get involved after my car was reported stolen by the chief of police because they couldn’t find it in any tow logs and no one in management from where my car was towed had asked for cars to be removed. Once it was found the state and local police were very helpful in getting my car back. A very nice trooper saw that my car was stolen in the system, cut the chain on their fence and had me drive out and go to the police station. The owner then harassed me for weeks and I had to file yet another report with the police. I’m surprised this company is still in business as the police know they are extremely shady. They supposedly have an office, but there's no one there to help you. It's a company that's clearly trying to charge you as much as possible, and they make you wait a long time, even though they claim to offer 24-hour service. They towed my damaged vehicle from the highway and then made me come back the next day because there was no one available to release my car. And they charged me much more than a regular tow truck company would have charged for the same service. Thieves!

5 STARS for this service - The van I was driving blew a tire on I40 west on Saturday night at 8pm. I tried changing the tire but the previous shop had put the lugs on too tight and I couldn't get them to budge. I called Doug's and they sent someone out. He was there in 10 minutes. He was very helpful and had the old wheel off and the spare on in no time. He then followed us as we got back on I40 to make sure everything was OK. TOP NOTCH! Thanks Doug's for GREAT SERVICE!

My husband was in an awful accident involving a tractor. He was in the tractor. Dougs 24 hr towing was quick prompt and polite. It was a police rotation call we had no choice in dougs towing. Honestly, it was a very good experience with them with no issues im glad they were on call. The guy who picked up the tractor was very sweet, understanding and calm amidst all of the chaos. He helped guide me through the process and consulted with Doug the owner with any questions i had and he could not answer. I would definitely recommend dougs towing for towing services.

I see a low of reviews listed here that Doug’s towing is fast and I’m curious if that’s because the drivers speed through the highways, cut people off, tailgate, and drive recklessly? Couldn’t get a plate number, but saw this driver on I-73 south just south of Greensboro- and he almost caused multiple accidents. Very unprofessional for a business that spends much of their time on the road.
