Sent my Suburban here for a valve train issue and an MDS delete. They did the job and finished fairly quick but the driver side valve cover insulator never made it back onto the engine. I called twice and stopped in once and they said they'd look and get back to me. I have never received a call back. In the meantime, I've been replacing coil packs at $80 a pop because they are getting wet. I finally just ordered the insulator myself which cost me another $50.

Full disclosure! OLD VEHICLE brought in for service. While my elderly uncle brought his older Ford Explorer in to Downtown Automotive on a Tuesday knowing that there was a brake issue and leaving it for both an evaluation and repair, after numerous attempts from my uncle to follow up on his status of the vehicle (no word of cost, if they were working on it. or ETA of completion), my husband finally called on Monday.. 6 days later... they knew immediately who he were calling about because they responded/interrupted the conversation stating... So my car was in good working condition with no issues. I took my car in to have regular maintenance: the brake system flushed, my oil changed, my radiator flushed, and also my transmission flushed. I was called at the end of day on Tuesday and tell that my car was ready to go. I was asked when I was picking up my car if I had brake issues? My answer was no. I was told that the mechanic that drove my car experienced a brake pedal fall and they told me just to just drive it to see if there was an issue, and there was. I was traveling from the panhandle of Oklahoma to the middle of Tennessee to take my son back to school when his pickup broke down on the interstate outside of Ft. Smith. It was such a stressful situation being so far from home and not knowing anyone, with the drive line, rear differential and transfer case all needing to be replaced.
