Driver's Auto Mart (Now a Part of University Mitsubishi)

From start to finish, I thoroughly appreciated the help I was given here. My mom passed in April 2018...and one of our last conversations was that she wanted me to take my inheritance and buy myself a truck....we both shared a love of a good truck....and we both liked to bling our trucks out! But, after shopping for weeks, having trucks sold out from under me, trucks that had recall issues, not being allowed to test drive, told I had to pay interest even though I was paying cash...etc, etc....I was tired and frustrated. I'm very glad to report that I had a fantastic experience buying a 2018 Nissan Rogue from Drivers Auto Mart. The patience the Mr. Sebastian Pichardo had with my questions via text and email before going onsite tells so much of the kind of dealership. I was greeted (not swarmed, wow!!). I was then introduced to my sales associate Chester Rivera who was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle I was looking at. Chester was extremely professional and courteous. Throughout the process, I had the pleasure of meeting with Mr. David Martinez Finance Manager which was absolutely professional, incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant, and even the General Manager Mr. Carlos Cabo provided me some time to make my deal smooth, quick and overall fantastic. I have to thank these guys for the smooth process in buying my new truck. John, Kevin and Carlos were the opposite of what you would expect from a used car dealer. They were professional, friendly, and they did not pressure me any way. Definitely no sharks at this place. They had great inventory, with good pricing, and their dealer fees were affordable considering the amount of work they do to make the process smooth and painless. They even offered to bring it to my home for me to test drive and would have done the purchase remotely and contactless if I needed. I came in pre-approved, we test drove it, provided all the information I requested, answered all my questions, and the purchase process took about 2 hours. Thanks again!!! Avoid this place! I purchased a vehicle at Driver's Auto Mart in August 2022 for $18.000. I started having issues immediately after buying the car, spending over $2000 dollars to replace some parts that were damaged. 14 months after buying my car, the transmission failed. The cost to replace the whole transmission is more than the value of my car. Be aware of all the positive reviews you see. The general manager called me promising me money if I deleted this review, but I have not received any compensation. Hope this review helps somebody!
