Driver's Edge

I've been going to this location since I moved here about 3 years ago. I've experienced mostly good service but there were a few hiccups here and there. Today I went in and met the new manager, Chris and the AGM Juan. They were both very friendly and took the time to answer my questions thoroughly. When I picked up my car later in the afternoon near closing time I forgot that I needed an inspection. I apologized and asked if they could help out even though it was the last minute. They happily helped. I will definitely be coming back with our family's business.

I was nearby and had a half hour free, so I stopped by to have a new tire I bought elsewhere, mounted on a rim and balanced. They did the job in 15 minutes and even advised me that the rim had some rust that needed to be removed, otherwise it could transfer to the lug nuts. The service was outstanding and the salesman was very courteous and most helpful. If I need tire or tire work in the future, I'll definitely use Driver's Edge. Pricing was reasonable as well.

Took about an hour for inspection, then told me I failed because I supposedly have “a EGR delete”, but 2009+ 5.7 Hemis do not have an EGR valve. I tried to explain that to them even a quick google search would have proven me right but wanted to argue about it. If the inspector/mechanic on site isn’t competent to know this then I definitely don’t trust him with my vehicle.

I moved to Fort Worth about four years ago, and at that time I had a company Silverado, so all service work went to Joe & Driver’s Edge and costs were handled through fleet. During this time I didn’t have any major issues with them because the service was an oil change, tires rotated etc.About a year and a half ago, when I retired, I began bringing in my Infiniti Q70 for service. On one visit, Joe checked my tires and recommended I replace them with Toyo tires at roughly $330 each. I purchased one, and shortly after, Joe contacted me saying he had two more in stock that another customer had ordered but never picked up. I agreed to purchase another one. I didn't even know about this place. I needed a battery replacement, and was recommended to them by AutoZone. It was near closing when I got there, but I could not tell with how courageous they were. They took care of my issue and give me a good price on labor. I will be back if I have other car needs in the future and would recommend them to anyone.
