UPDATE - How am I supposed to let you know about the issue? I was stranded with a non-working vehicle at 11 pm on a Friday night. The car was not at my house. I had to have it towed from its location to a mechanic. I had to pay a towing and diagnostic fee. They found the device fairly quickly. How serious does DS Auto Group take matters? Take a look AT THE ONLY message they have sent me since I reached out to them about the issue. DS Auto confirms that they don't inspect their vehicles very closely. Next time if you are so willing to send your mechanic, maybe have him inspect the car and remove it before you sell it. So just beware if you buy a car from them. Sam was very helpful in many ways with our experience. I have been looking at multiple of cars they had in inventory. Went to look at a couple they had, they didn’t pressure me into buying a car that day but did mention that their inventory goes quick, they got a car that fit my needs and they helped out in every way possible to their abilities. We could not have been happier to have been served by Sam at DS Auto. It’s refreshing to go to a dealership and deal with just good honest people. Stay away from these guys unless you like losing thousands of dollars. They buy from auctions. They then turn around and knock 5k off blue book price when in reality you could be looking at 10-20k in repairs. I purchased a car for 21k and the check engine light came on for a cylinder misfire the day after. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to try changing plugs and coils to resolve the issue. Ultimately brought the car to Ford for diagnosis only to have them tell me I need a new engine (quote of 14k). It makes me believe that is the whole reason the previous owners sold this car to auction because they also found out about the insane cost of repairs.
