This place is great! They know what they are doing and they have very reasonable rates. I've been taking my vehicles here for several years and can't recommend them enough. It's a small shop in Marengo but it's one of those places where you count yourself lucky to have found them. Very honest people and very competent. I've had older vehicles and newer vehicles repaired and all repairs were done professionally, quickly, and without any issues after picking up the vehicle. I'd highly recommend DunRight Auto & Truck Repair.

Over the last year, I have called DunRight 3 different times for various vehicle repairs, and always during their listed business hours. No one has ever answered. Every time, I have left a detailed message including my name and number, but they never call back. The outgoing voicemail message sounds like a braindead drunk guy. Apparently they are too good for my business... Or maybe they are incapable of anything more than oil changes. Who knows... maybe they are out of business. I guess I will never know. But service like this gets 1 star. Maybe they should learn how to repair their phone.

Joe saved me hundreds of dollars by taking a simple and honest approach. Other shops in town wanted to charge me 300-400 and throw a bunch of parts at the problem. It turns out my issue was a loose belt and I only paid $25. I can't believe some of the other mechanics in Marengo and their prices, especially the upcharge on parts!

The owner Joe is the best. He has always gone out of his way for me. And is overly fair with his prices. Won't go anywhere else, unless the work in question is under warranty.

Joe is an honest man and mechanic. Never had a problem with any repairs of his. His knowledge of vehicles is second to none.
