DuVall's Transmission

I would give them 5 stars, but the manager argued with me for checking in on my vehicle for 3 days. I feel like I have a right to check in, but upon receiving the vehicle I was approached in a more professional manner. Really happy with the transmission rebuild on my 4r100 out of a 99 F-350 7.3 diesel, and it is running great. Overall, im happy with the service and would gladly return if needed, but some may just say I'm being a little salty, so I'm going to stick with 3 stars for arguing about my concerns. The work was done in a good time frame, and I don't doubt his expertise being able to finish my rebuild a day earlier then stated, I assume 2 work days in total for $2,600 which to my understanding is pretty average for my vehicle.

Great people who are very skilled at their jobs. They are high on their prices, but they do the job right. When it comes to transmissions, you can cheap out and be down and out or pay high and keep getting by. These guys are professionals and know their stuff. Don't get the guy for 500 down the road... I have been there and done that and it never works out. I highly recommend these guys.

Not so much diagnostic was done, just looking at the oil pan for debris and residue. They didn't even drive the vehicle, nor hook it up to a diagnostic computer. I've been having issues with it for over a year and possibly torque converter issues as well. But, if they say that there is nothing wrong, then there is nothing wrong. We will see on our big trip coming up if I'm stranded in the middle of the highway. I could have done the job myself and saved $120+.

I've had 2 transmissions replaced by Duvall on two separate vehicles (2001 Toyota Tacoma and 1995 Camry) as well as a clutch replaced on a third vehicle (1997 F350) and they do an amazing job. Also, they honor their warranty. I had about 35k miles and 2.5 years of a 100k/3yr on the Camry and it started having issues. They repaired it immediately Under the warranty. Good people. I'll continue to do business with them.
