Went to Firestone with issue with my vehicle sputtering when idle at a stop. They said you need a tune up and tried to up sale me on brakes needing to be flushed which I said no. Picked up my vehicle and car was still sputtering. Took it to David at Dwain’s automotive and they found the problem, fixed it, and had decent prices. Never tried to up sale and never made me feel as a female walking in that here comes $$$$..Highly recommend and they are my go to place for all vehicle issues

Best local mechanic hands down. Hourly rate is still reasonable. They do not upsell other stuff. Had a Jeep Wrangler in for what I thought was a busted motor mount. Turned out to be the mount bolts that busted in the block. A couple hours and a few bolts later and it was fixed. This is my 2nd time using this shop and I will continue to do so.

The gentlemen working have been here for years. Dave was a great communicator. I had a tuneup a month ago and everything is working great. This is my new mechanic in Rio Rancho

I don't know anything about automotive, so I make sure that my mechanic does. I've had various vehicles serviced at Dwain's over the past several years, and these guys are reputable, fair, honest and dependable. Their rates seem fair, and their turnaround time is good, especially for a small shop. We'll be back, fellas.

Dwain's is the best place to get your car repaired. Up front honestly on cost and had my car completed a day early. You can't go wrong.
