Dykstra’s Auto – Byron Center

I don’t normally leave reviews but this needs to be seen. I was really in a bind and took my suv here. They did in fact get it in to look at it pretty quick. They were great at communicating through the whole process. I drove it to a family members house visited for a few hours went out to start my truck and it wouldn’t start. I then talked to Dykstra and got it towed to them to take a look. I needed something done fast as this is my daily vehicle. I was told it was my fuel pump. While fixing the fuel pump they seen I needed brakes,calipers and rotors on the back at which time i refused that service as that is something i can do myself. I first want to say, these are some genuinely nice guys in the shop and I believe they do want to do their best work. Unfortunately I had a wheel bearing replaced under them a couple years ago that has already gone bad and is just barely outside of warranty. They were able to give me some credit back on the part which is great! They want what’s best for you and are my first choice.

Thank you Dykstra Auto Team! During the polar vortex in February 2026, my tires were extremely low as I drove to work (Buist Community Assistance Center). My pressure lights had been on and I was worried about filling up my own tires in the nasty weather. You filled up my tires quickly, at no charge, which truly took a huge load off my mind. Absolutely cannot express my gratitude for getting my guys tire fixed as soon as they showed up!! In and out and back on the road!! That's unheard of nowadays!! You saved us so much in payroll, I'm so happy they stopped to see you guys, and it was at a price that cannot be beat!! You're absolutely amazing!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!! I brought my car in to have the transmission filter only changed. Dykstra's was great to do this no problem, as another shop I called would not as that shop considered that as working on the transmission and therefore off limits. So I was so relieved and grateful that Dykstra's took care of this for me. They also gave my car a jump to assist with a bad battery, which I decided to replace at home. But they came outside and jumped my car in a most helpful and friendly way at no extra cost, which showed me that they cared about my wellbeing. So the service was great even though the price was fairly higher than what I thought it should be.
