Eagle Transmission

I had the pleasure to take my truck for transmission service here. Absolute gem of a service shop. Scott is the manager and my technician was Sebastian. Honest and hardworking people. The attention to detail was clear. They didn't let me leave until I was satisfied. Avoid the dealer and bring your vehicle here for expert service. I highly recommend this place!!!

While in Texas for Thanksgiving, my trucks wheel bearing went bad so I brought my Tacoma in to Eagle Transmission to have the wheel bearing replaced. I went to 4 different shops to diagnose the issue and chose Eagle Transmission on Coit due to their reviews. Unfortunately my go-to and favorite place in Plano, Spring Creek Automotive, wasn't capable of replacing the bearing. It was Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Thursday Eagle was closed and Friday was a short day so there wouldn't be any chance the work could be done until Monday. Scott, of Eagle Transmission said it would be a 1 day job and quoted me $550 for parts and labor. So, I filled the paperwork out on Wednesday, and returned to drop the Tacoma off on Monday. I can’t praise Eagle Transmission in Plano, Texas, enough for the outstanding job they did rebuilding the transmission on my Chevrolet Express 3500 after an accident. I brought our vehicle in due to a possible transmission leak/issue. The dealership quoted $7,000 to rebuild a transmission, so I was nervous and dreading this appointment. I chose this location based on reviews and I'm so glad I did. Scott and his team were quick, efficient, confident and thorough! They ruled out a leak, but the diagnostic codes indicated that I did have an overheating issue. Scott provided different options to address the issue as well as invaluable advice. Scott earned my trust & business that day. I've already booked PM's next week for this vehicle and another and actually look forward to going back. I mean, who says that?? This shop is great for dealing with Transmission issues. 3+ years ago my old truck with 260K+ miles needed a new/rebuilt transmission. These guys took care of it as promised. Fast forward to today (3.5 yrs later) and the transmission started spewing ATF underneath and out the back of my truck as I was driving. I was able to drive it into the shop. Scott and his team took a look, diagnosed the problem and charged me a very reasonable amount for the transmission repair. So far so good.
