East Tennessee Chrome Plating

I had R&D chrome plate the pot metal on my 1956 Imperial. I was very pleased with the work. They also gold plated an emblem that goes on the front of the hood. Looks great. I was very impressed with the way the parts were packaged. Wrapped in plastic then sealed in plastic bags. There were several large pieces and tail lights that are 3 pieces each. All the parts were flawless.

I have some fairly rare older BMW trim from the early 80’s that had anodize clear on it. I took it to several places local to me and no one could remove it or even wanted to try it. I heard about R&D Finishing through Mountain Empire Anodizing and Metal Finishing which is another amazing company. I talked to Nate with R&D and he assured me he could remove the finish and polish them back to factory shine. I had to ship them to him which was costly and the polishing was costly but when you have a NLA piece you have to pay up. It took a little over 10 weeks but the product and service was flawless. The packaging was bar none above my expectations and I am very happy. Thanks Nate.

Awesome people. The work is nothing short of perfection. If you want your chrome plating done I would highly recommend going here. There standard is held to the highest level no matter how small or large the product is. .

At one time did decent work at a fair price, they have lost their minds and now want what Paul’s or Advance Plating does, I didn’t see anything during my visit to make it seem as they are now on their level..salesman can talk all he wants but My chrome was plated elsewhere for a third of what they wanted and the quality was as nice as anything I’ve ever seen from them.
