STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE-I took my 302 engine here that I was going to have them do a stroker 347 with 4 months ago, their time frame estimate was THREE WEEKS. after they told me twice my engine would be ready in 2 weeks and that all they were waiting on was the heads I kept calling they informed me they had the roller kit, cam, gaskets, etc… I call them about two weeks ago and they tell me that the engine I dropped off with them was no good, and that they had replaced it with another engine and did not consult me about this decision (my engine was a 1988 hydraulic roller motor, the engine they replaced it with was a flat tappet motor from 1971) I did not know this until I picked the engine up today and went to install my roller lifters and noticed I had no way to mount my spider in t
They did the machine work on BBF 460 for us.The deck work was perfect as was the cylinder bores and went above and beyond on the heads. They took a little longer but it was well worth it.Will use the again for all our major machine work.
Took these guys my rotating assembly for balancing, turn crank, resize rods, regrind fly wheel. I was quoted $100 to turn crank, $175 to balance. This was the highest quote I received for balancing but I though maybe they would do a better job. After several trips up there and several weeks I finally got my parts. The charge was $375. That was acceptable because they had sized the rods and turned the fly wheel. When I got home I started checking my rods and found them as much as .004 out. When I called then the guy said I don’t think we did your rods, I’ll have someone call you back. Never received a call. I figure they took me for $60. The crank journal were good (done by another shop), but they welded on the crank after they balanced it. It didn’t seam right to me to add weight after bal
Must have gotten backed up after I took my block and crank in. Said it was slow and could get it out quick. It ended up being 6 weeks but that's ok as long as it's finished up now on to the build process.
They were fair and super nice id definitely go back if I have work in the future.
