The vehicle (2011 Mit Lancer) we bought was fine. It was exactly as advertised. So I have no issues with the vehicle. It ran well and the price was as fair as one can get in Illinois However, when the vehicle was totaled from a crash just 6 months later, we can’t get the insurance to pay their end because the title is not in our name. When we narrowed the problem down, EB Motors never sent the TT&L paperwork into the State. The only way they did it now is because I called to find out what was the issue. Their excuse was that the paperwork sat on their assistant’s desk. For 6 months? That is borderline fraudulent actions. Now we have to wait till the paperwork goes through the State to get the insurance to pay out for the vehicle. EB Motors said they have expedited the paperwork. W

Purchased a car here in Feb 2025. I got pulled over last week because my plates and insurance show suspended. Weird. Called the secretary of state and they tell me they have not received ANY of my paper work from the dealership FROM A YEAR AGO! So i have no title, no registration or registered plates. And all Edwin says is he will take care of it. They want their money same day but then don't want to do the paper work. This place is a joke!

After buying my car I had to bug them about receiving my metal plates and after a month and a half I finally received it. I also kept calling several times about not receiving my title. He kept telling me "It'll be there in 3 weeks." I waited 3 weeks. Nothing. He continued pushing it back and I waited and still nothing. After nearly THREE AND A HALF months of not having received the title I called the secretary of state police and they told me the state hadn't even received the title. He lied to me the entire time because they didn't even send it! I had to file an official complaint to the police and when they finally got a call from the police they managed to send it in. We purchased a Dodge Durango from EB Motors, Inc. in November 2024.The financial manager, Edwin, was pleasant during the purchase process. Oftentimes, the other office workers failed to process documents and paperwork that had to be brought to Edwin's attention.( Edwin is frequently out of the office.)The amended and final itemized sales agreement showed the costs for $15,296. We paid the dealership twice: First payment of 14,000 cash at time an Indiana title was given to us. Second payment of additional of $1712 for State of Illinois fees, taxes and credit card fee for a total of$15,712. Jeff at EB motors was excellent to deal with. I have bought many used vehicles in the past from both private party and used car lots. Overall one of the most seamless vehicle purchases I've ever made. Jeff was open and honest about the vehicle I purchased and purchased price was settled within minutes. He wasn't playing a game of back and forth just handling the task at hand of serving my need for a vehicle and his to move one. I drove this confidently 2 hours south to my home afterwards with no issues and he called afterwards to make sure I had made it with no issues.
