Economical Auto Repair - New Braunfels

Steve Angelo, is an absolute idiot!! I took my 2003 Dodge Ram pickup into him for a simple break repair, and to have him check out my AC. $440.00 later, my breaks are fixed (I hope), but my AC is not. He replaced the knobs, that control the AC and that did not fix the problem ($239.00 part). He then called me to tell me he had replaced the knobs and the AC was working a little better, but that it didn't fix the problem completely. He then told me he had a pretty good idea, what it was but that he didn't not have the proper computer to pinpoint the problem 100%. He said that only the Dodge dealerships have these computers and I would have to take it there spend $60.00 to have them check it out. He then advised me to have them right down what was wrong with it and take my car back to him so

STAY AWAY! This place totally ripped me off. I had several things to be repaired on the same visit. He charged me the money (obvious he wanted cash) then when I drove my car the next day none of the so called repairs were effective. I went back to discuss the fact that nothing they had done fixed any of the problems, and they just made lame excuses. Out all that money for nothing. Wouldn't send my worst enemy here!

We took our 2011 caravan in for electrical issues. Steve was able to see us that day. The problem was extremely difficult to identify and after some time and tribulations is now repaired. It took some patience but I do believe it was a fair transaction.

TOTAL RIP OFF This place is not a car shop, is a place you go to get ripped off. There are Two brothers who pretend to be mechanics and the dad who tells them what to do. They over charge and don not do the work they say they do on your car. ECONOMICAL AUTO REPAIR hahah You should see the mess of a shop they have there.... Someone should call the troubleshooters on this place to have hidden cameras go in and see what actually happens to your car when they "work" on it!
