Economy Transmission

I just picked up my 2001 Saturn SC-2 from Nicole at Economy Transmissions in Bristol, CT. Thank you, Nicole and staff for removing and replacing all the transmission shift cable bushing! Fantastic work! Will recommend to my friends and family!

MUST READ. MUST READ. They will lie and take advantage of you if they could. Drop my car for a new motor install. 3 months before I got it back. Went back for my 600 mile oil change. Got home , oil dripping on driveway. Went back. Said Rack And Pinion leaking. 4$4-$500 job. Did not do it. Went to another Machanic. 2nd appinion. They did not clean the oil off it when the drop the oil out of the oil pan. Cleaned it all with brake clean. Nothing was wrong with the Rack and Pinion. They just didn’t clean the excess oil. If I was stupid enough to let them replace the Rack and Pinion it would have been $4-$500 waste of money. Thought Economy Transmission was BETTER than that.

My first experience was very pleasant working with them. They didn't over charge like most garages, fixed what I asked without saying other things needed to also be fixed. They double checked to see if I wanted my old parts. Communication was great and Nicole did a wonderful job taking calls and working with me. My SUV feels great! I really appreciate you guys. I will be recommending you to everyone I know!

I went to Crowley dodge in bristol to have the transmission checked and they said its no good 6000.00 to replace! Then i took the truck to economy and they took great care of me found the issue, radiator hose clamp was loose and made truck go into limp mode ,LOW COOLANT! tightening a hose clamp and added coolant ,FIXED! TRANSMISSION HAS NO ISSUES AT ALL, I HAD THEM SERVICE MY 2014 PROMASTER 1500 TRANSMISSION FOR AROUND 200.00 AND I DID IT JUST BECAUSE IT WAS THERE! VERY HONEST SHOP!! UNDER 250.00 COMPARED TO 6000.00 AT CROWLEY DODGE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP! COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! THANKS GUYS! DEAN WHITE
