Ed's Smog Test Only

Don't waste your time and just go anywhere else. I spent half an hour there and it turned out that my car did not pass the smog check because I had to drive the car 50 more miles after the battery reset. Any good shop will tell you about it right away and will not make a smog check. This shop charged me $70 for that and they said that I have only come to him to do retest for which he asked for $110 extra. $180 for smog check?? What??? Long story short, this place is SCAM.

They did a smog test for me at the cheapest price available with my coupon. They were very nice and I didn't have to wait long at all. They sent the results that my car passed to the DMV electronically right away. I'm happy overall.

Ed is the man! I’ve had my smog checked by many different people. Ed is the first to quiz me on the things that will cause me to fail BEFORE the test. (really cool) I got the sense that he would send me away rather than take my money and knowing that I was going to fail. When I called around to compare Ed’s price to the others (like the one I went to last time). I asked if they will match it and they said you should just go there. One person was so pissed and that I even asked for the price match he said (yelled) ‘the price is the price if you don’t like it go somewhere else!’ So back to Ed, he was also the fastest smog check I ever had. Ed’s place is a nice and friendly business (more and more uncommon these days). Basically, just a good guy doing good work.

These guys are great at what they do! I stopped in to have a smog check done in order to have my plates changed and they had me in and out in 10 minutes. They even gave me the Yelp coupon which I didn't even know existed! Will definitely be going back for other services.

Awesome service done quickly and done properly. By the time I got to the DMV services, the data was already there! Unlike other smog check shops in the area that do not send data to DMV but still charge you for it! If you need a smog check, go to Ed's!
