Elephant Car Wash - Rancho Mirage, CA

Went to get a Hand Wash due to my vehicle height. It took almost an hour not bad, they have a nice sitting area. After the wash, had a guy dry and wipe down inside (the normal). Everything looked good, but when I got home and actually looked.. the guy didn't wipe my dash very well, I had my license plate on my dash and he didn't go underneath to clean the dash and in between things you expect would be cleaned... will look closer next time. Will return, nice small establishment been there for I think 70 years! Pretty nice to see.

There’s a reason why I stay away from car washes like this and everyone should. I think it’s obvious that a regular car wash is not a detail wash totally different services in both price and work. But when you can’t even wipe the back of a seat or the cup holder, then that’s just low standards. Thank you for reminding me why I wash my own cars.

We were out in the desert having fun in our Jeep and of course it ended up covered in dust inside and out. We have some friends flying in to visit tomorrow and need to collect them from the airport. We did not want to show up in a dusty car so we took it to the Pink Elephant car wash and they did a fantastic job. The staff were excellent and friendly. Highly recommend this car wash.

I toke my car on 1/16/26 I payed 35$ for a clean inside and out of my jeep I went when the sun went down so the final result of the wash I couldn’t really see until the next day, the outside of the car is okay but the inside is so bad I don’t recommend this place

Let me share you a pink elephant car wash story from the 1990s We had a place at mission hills and kept a car in California I had arrived at the house and took the car to the pink elephant to get it cleaned up and walked out and sat down on the little benches there to wait for her to be finished Across the way there were three black undercover looking police vehicles with a half dozen gentleman in suits wearing ear pieces staring over it us at the benches I looked around to my left and it was President Ford who had brought his own car to be washed and he was sitting on the bench next to me reading the newspaper The secret service officers realize that I noticed who I was sitting next to and I smiled at them and they smiled at me I allowed the president to continue reading his paper in peac
