Ellenburg Nursing Center

My brother is newly paralyzed (only a month) and was left sitting in their own bowel movement for hours without being checked on. Hid catheter was not properly capped after being emptied, causing it to leak onto the floor. The call button in his room does not work, and they were forgotten at dinner after being moved — only to be brought a cold plate and told to “do their best and eat it." I understand that facilities can be understaffed, but basic care and dignity are not optional. No one should be left feeling forgotten, neglected, or treated like an inconvenience — especially when they are vulnerable and unable to care for themselves. This experience has been deeply disappointing and concerning. And he just got there Monday!

These people are wonderful!! Mom was here from March 2019 to October 2019. We only had her moved to be closer to us. Do not judge a book by its cover. This building is old but the people are what matter. They are kind and caring. We never had a set schedule of going in but mom was always clean and happy and well taken care of. We can only hope that the new place is as good as Ellenburgs.

Candy is wonderful there amd very pleasant anytime anything goes wrong she is prompt to call me with my brother needs. I can't say they don't take care him cause I honest know they do . And candy is so sweet when she calls and honest to what she knows. They do get them prompt help when needed. And make sure they get to hospital immediately . The pharmacist recommended me to them they kept her mom and dad and she said best place ever . And I will say they stay in touch . Would I trust there judgement yes I do fully . They where more accurate then hospital last time. It took hospital days to figure out when the nursing facility was pretty dead on what he had if only hospital would throughly examine him like nursing home does it would not took three days in hospital tryin figure out .

My Sister is a Resident at Ellenberg.... The Staff are Wonderful & Kind To Her.... She was Born Handicapped and as she got older she could no longer live on her own.... It's So Sad..... However she is Very Happy at Ellenbergs...I Love Her so Much.....
