Giant scam took my gf's car there and told them 5 times it just needed a new stater so what does he do? Says its not the starter says its a electrical problem said he did it and that he was wrong and it was the starter and way over her charged her for stuff that didnt need to be done. And then when he said he got it fixed wanted over 1000 dollars. So ya that place needs to be investigated.

On my way through town I was getting an alert that my car was overriding and to idle it immediately. It was getting dark, 25 degrees and I have two little kids in the back. I pulled into the gas station to try and check coolant levels myself and noticed the shop across the street, it didn’t appear open but I called the number out of panic. Sam answered the phone and was so kind to help. He told me exactly what to pickup in the gas station and then had me come over so he could look at it. Off duty he ran in and out to get what he needed to get my car up and going. He was kind, and explained things to me in terms i understood. He sent me on my way with instructions on if it were to happen again before I got home. The task may have felt simple to him, but felt like he was a guardian angel ton

Made my day on the way to post office started car and warning light said low beam light was out. Elwood auto right next door the owner had a bulb and in 5 minutes I was on my way. It was below zero temp and he only charged for the bulb. Thank you so much you earned my business.

We got a flat tire nearby on a Saturday afternoon when this shop was closed. The owner happened to be there catching up on work. He spent a couple of hours trying to help us find a replacement tire (the tire was an unusual size and most tire shops in the area were either closed or could not get the tire. He was generous with his time and customer focused even though we were out of left field, there on his day off and not local. We are grateful for his help.

Elm wood Auto Center mechanics are total experts!!! My car wouldn’t start while I was parked at the gas station. I walked over and asked the mechanic on duty what I should do. The mechanic gave me instructions. I did exactly what the mechanic instructed me to do and the car started. Very helpful! Very knowledgeable. I recommend!!!
