I got stuck in ice in Louisville, KY. The trailer was loaded with about 40k lbs. Spent 4 hours trying to get out myself hesitant of calling for towing because it is usually expensive and takes time for them to get to you, especially in snowing season. It wasn't until I gave up and started calling towing companies. The prices and time to get to me were ridiculous. Then, I found Emanuel Towing online and gave them a call. Very good decision. My trailer became stuck in a ditch while making a turn, and I contacted Emanuel Towing for assistance. The company was approximately 15 minutes away from the location. During the initial phone conversation, the owner quoted $5,000, but after discussion, we mutually agreed on a total of $1,500 for the service. Prior to their arrival, I provided the owner with a video clearly showing the condition and position of the trailer, ensuring full transparency about the situation. Upon arrival, however, the owner suddenly claimed that the job was “more than expected” and demanded an additional $200, raising the total to $1,700.
