This shop is exceptional, refreshingly honest and great mechanics! My '18 VW Jetta was showing multiple faults affecting ABS, air bag, tire pressure, and steering. Gary & team were able to correctly diagnose the issue and fix it for a few hundred dollars (dealership costs would have been well into the thousands, and another mechanic wanted to bill ~2x the time it took the Emerald guys...) I got the sense that Gary genuinely cares that his customers' cars are fixed, unlike some shops who just seem to find ways to rack up labor, independent of whether the problem persists. Highly recommend. I'll definitely return!

Gary is simply the best! He's serviced my 4Runner with precision and when the dealer (Royal Auto) told me my Volvo XC90 needed new brakes - I immediately went to Gary. He gave me an honest assessment and fair price, but more than anything - told me i have another 5-10k miles on these brakes. Royal Auto can get bent! I'm an Emerald customer for life!

Thank God for Gary. My friends referred me to his shop for a second opinion on my car and I'm grateful to have found a place that operates with honesty and integrity. I brought my car to a certified Toyota service center first and was quoted nearly $4,800 for repairs that Gary quickly identified as bogus. He did identify the 2 real issue — a bad rear hub — something Toyota completely missed (and likely didn’t test-drive the car to catch), and my front struts. Gary lifted the car, walked me through everything with a flashlight, and clearly explained why the other parts Toyota said were “broken” were perfectly normal. He fixed what actually needed fixing, charged a fair price - 35% of what Toyota quoted me (which doesn't even include the hub replacement they missed and hadn't quote me for

I'm happy to join the choir, a trusted friend sent me to see Gary at Emerald Auto and Brake, and what did I find? Salt of the Earth, an honest shop doing quality work, at very reasonable prices, thank you.

Pulled up at 8:45am to get my side mirror checked out from a hit and run incident yesterday. I saw some minor cracks and wasn’t sure if something could be broken mechanically so figured I should get some quotes at a couple spots. The owner of the shop took a look at my side mirror, asked if I still had the shell, and popped it right back on while telling me “it’s not worth buying a new part,” given that my car is new and the part was going to be $$$. He also double checked that my mirror controls were still functioning, and sent me on my way. Just to sanity check, I also got a quote from the Toyota dealership after for $1379. Grateful for the mechanic’s honest review and service to save me a ton!! I wasn’t able to put on the shell myself because I thought I might crack it more, but I was o
