Empire Chevrolet Of Hicksville Service Department

Thank you to Greg Beaumont the mechanic at Chevy auto service repair! He had notified me right away the next day to ask what was wrong with my car. After it had been towed overnight due to no battery power. He took care of it ASAP and helped me with all the fees. He got my car ready between 1-2 days. I was very happy with help, work and time. I will never take my Chevy traverse anywhere else. This has the best customer service by far.

Brought my car there at 10am this morning and was told it’ll take “a little while” so was suggested to leave it. I called back at 12pm bc the app told me pickup would be for tomorrow at 6pm!? The person on the phone told me to ignore it; that it’s inaccurate. So I called back at 5pm only to be told my car hasn’t even made it into the shop yet. Gregory Beaumont suggested I leave it for tomorrow. I asked for a loaner car; he said he didn’t have any! I told him how upset I am that this wasn’t communicated. I’m picking up my car and never going back there. This is the second bad experience I’ve had with them. Service and sales all leave something to be desired. Like commitment to making the customer satisfied. One star is even too much.

The service desk staff are consistently in a bad mood and make it very clear that your business is not wanted. There’s a lack of basic professionalism and customer care from the moment you walk in. Even simple services like an inspection or an oil change take an entire day to complete, which shows poor organization and ineffective appointment scheduling. There’s no respect for customers’ time, and communication is minimal at best. I do not recommend this Chevrolet service department. The experience feels unprofessional, disorganized, and uncaring.

Excellent experience. There was no delay. My service advisor Ed Hoene was on top of it and got me and my vehile repaired and out quick. This is why I keep going back. Complementary coffee was also great.

Just brought my car in to Empire Chevrolet for an EV sound recall and to have a dash mat installed. Chris Umali kept me informed along the way and I am very happy with the service provided. Both were under warranty. So, I did not have to pay anything.
