Enterprise Rent-A-Car

My experience with Enterprise was extremely disappointing. The customer service was unprofessional and unhelpful from the start. The vehicle I was given was not properly cleaned and had obvious issues that should have been caught before renting it out. When I brought it to their attention, the staff acted like it was an inconvenience rather than trying to fix the problem. On top of that, the process took way longer than it should have, and I felt like I was being rushed through paperwork without clear explanations about charges and policies. For a company that advertises great service, this location definitely did not live up to the reputation. Overall, this was a frustrating experience and I would not recommend renting from here unless you want to deal with poor communication and subpar

They don’t respect your times. I had to leave 2 day ago and every day I give them my email to confirm my booking and by the end of the day at 4pm they tell me they have no availability. This is the second day in a row they cancel and I have to go to Oklahoma. I would go elsewhere because enterprise downtown and east side location don’t care about your trips. 2 days later I’m still in Des Moines when I set up 3 appointments because they don’t know how to rent cars

I have rented from this location several times in the past 3 years and have NEVER had a problem. The people are really friendly, the car is ready on time and is in good condition. In a couple of instances where I rented at home and drove out to Des Moines and had a problem with the car, they helped me without even batting an eyelash and it isn't even their rental. Communication is excellent.

The people at this location were extremely helpful in helping me get a car after accidentally renting from a nearby location. They went above and beyond which I was thankful for. Extremely clean & ready to help as soon as I walked in.

I recently rented from Enterprise for the first time for a work trip, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The vehicle I reserved was not available when I arrived, and the information I received over the phone when confirming the reservation was inaccurate. Throughout the process, the staff were not polite, helpful, or solution-oriented. When trying to address the issues, the local branch offered no assistance in person, and calling corporate only led back to being told to speak with the same unhelpful location. This branch clearly needs a review of its customer service practices. As a customer, I expected to be supported and accommodated—not dismissed or made to feel like my business didn’t matter.
