Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I needed to rent a vehicle for a day and on short notice. I went on line and pulled up Enterprise, as well as two other rental companies. After comparison, I selected Enterprise due to the following; great prices, wide selection of readily available vehicles to choose from, and the time saving option of online pre check in. This option alone saved so much time. When I arrived, I only needed to provide ID, and CC to verify, and a walk around the vehicle, I signed the employee tablet at the vehicle and was on my way. Returning the vehicle was equally fast; a quick walk around, and the employee acknowledgement on the tablet that the vehicle was returned and I was on my way. The staff was friendly, professional, and very efficient, making both pickup and return quick and stress-free. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and ready on time. This location was top notch, excellent staff, clean and welcoming with professional and prompt service. I rented a vehicle for a business trip and everything went well. The vehicle I rented was a Mid size SUV, I had a (Mitsubishi) AWD that did a great job. No problems, excellent gas mileage, and comfortable. He’s very friendly, fast, professional, and extremely polite. Then Lori a sweet nice lady helped as well. She too was very professional and friendly. I’m writing to share my recent experience at your Downtown Escondido branch, which unfortunately fell short of expectations. I had placed a reservation for the largest SUV available and even received a confirmation call from the location manager, who advised me to arrive earlier than scheduled due to the busy Friday pickup time. I adjusted my schedule and came during my lunch break to accommodate this request. Upon arrival, however, I noticed that the vehicle I had reserved was not on the lot because it was at the dealership for a recall. This information was not communicated to me ahead of time, despite the earlier confirmation call. I found this lack of communication both frustrating and avoidable.
