Enterprise Rent-A-Car Enterprise Car Rental reported record revenue of $38 Billion for its fiscal year 2024. Surprisingly their branch handed me a key to a Nissan Versa year unknown with a missing hubcap, multiple cigarette burns, and a filthy interior. I asked was he joking and he said Why don’t you like it, it’s cute. Well I guess I’ll be cute too! I switched my car insurance to Safeco Insurance a Liberty Mutual Insurance company and this is an insurance claim rental. If this is what I have to look forward to I don’t want y’all or Enterprise ever again. #TheVirgoIsAboutToComeOut @highlight

I came to pick up my rental on a Monday, and the car wasn’t ready. I had to wait about 25 minutes while they finished washing it. I didn’t make a big deal about it because the employee helping me was polite and helpful. As soon as I opened the car, I realized they had sprayed something to cover a strong cigarette smell. I let the employee know, but I had to leave because I was already running late. After about two hours of driving, the spray smell disappeared and the cigarette odor became horrible—it honestly smelled like someone had smoked ten packs of cigarettes with the windows closed. When I returned the car, Jonathan Murphy helped me with the checkout. I asked him to check the odor, and he agreed it wasn’t acceptable. Rented a car from this location in August of 2025 and it was a wonderful and easy process. Just had to pop by here to give a special shout-out to two staff members at this location: There is a lovely man there named Jarod who was so kind, patient, accommodating, and friendly. He made the whole process easy and smooth. Additionally, I came in wearing a mask (we always mask indoors because we have an immunocompromised child, and in this red state we often get a lot of unkindness about masking.) He was so supportive and encouraging about my masking, and really made me feel welcome. His care and service are the main reason I will go back to this location for my next rental! :) Similarly, there was a very kind man named Murphy who showed me so much kindness and respect when I returned the car

I do not recommend renting from this location. They had not updated my reservation time so when I arrived, they did not have the car category I reserved available. The lesser category car that was available was also damaged but not noted, so they decided to come after me to repair the damages. They never emailed me the rental contract so I wasn’t aware how they noted the condition of the car. When checking out the car the manager said it was typical wear and tear. However, when I dropped it off, they said there was no indication of the prior damage and came after me to cover the cost of repair.Apparently it does no good to dispute the claim, unless you have hard evidence against it because even if your insurance doesn’t pay the claim, they come after you directly to get their money. I was pleased with the professional and friendly staff and how quickly I was able to check out /get my car and then also it was the same ease when returning the car. Very pleased and will rent here again. Barbara
